Los Cabos, Mexico

Hotels

Cabo is nothing short of some incredible hotels. There are so many options at a wide range of services and prices. We've broken it down into three categories with some of our favorite spots.

Luxury

One&Only Palmilla

The One&Only Palmilla is a great property complete with a golf course. It is located somewhat between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo. It's very private and very stunning. If you don't get the chance to stay here, I highly recommend spending an evening at the bar and ocean view restaurants.

Waldorf Astoria at Pedregal

Pedregal itself is a safe, welcoming, high-end community just South of Cabo San Lucas. Like the One&Only, it is gated and holds wonderful pools and restaurants with incredible views. Again, I highly recommend the restaurant if you don't get the opportunity to stay here.

Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection

I have stayed here several times and absolutely love it. Esperanza is another gated community with some housing options. The restaurant sits above the cliffs, and you get stunning views of the sunset and ocean. It is not far from Cabo San Lucas but still private and serene.

Los Cabos Nobu

I mean, what could be better than having Nobu sushi at your fingertips. The Nobu Hotel is a 5-star resort not far from Cabo San Lucas.

Las Ventanas al Paraiso

A stunning hideaway resort in Cabo near San Jose Del Cabo. This place gives you no reason to ever leave.

Chileno Bay

This has one of the only swimmable beaches in Cabo. It's an excellent place for relaxing and water sports like kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling.

Montage Los Cabos

A Montage anywhere is usually a great option. This one is rated number 1 on Trip Advisor and is right on the beach. The only downside? The beach is public and can apparently get crowded. The resort is worth it.

Mid-range

Cabo Azul

Cabo Azul is in San Jose Del Cabo. This area of Cabo is about 30 minutes North of what you might think of when you typically think of Cabo. You won't be next to El Squid Row or Mango Deck, but I'm guessing you'll be okay with that. The hotel is beautiful and beachfront with several delicious dining options and walking distance to town.

ME Cabo

ME Cabo is a great location. It's within walking distance to the fun beach bars and offers all-inclusive options. The pool area is busy, in a good way… unless it’s college Spring Break. It's a good mix of fun and relaxing.

Bahia Hotel and Beach House

This boutique hotel is in the heart of Cabo San Lucas in the Medano Beach area. You are in the heart of it all while still holding onto some charm.

Hyatt Ziva

The Hyatt Ziva is also located in San Jose Del Cabo. You get all the perks of a popular hotel chain at a beautiful resort.

Pueblo Bonito Rose

A fun time for an "adult spring break" type of trip with all inclusive offers and a great location on the beach.

Budget & Fiesta Friendly

There are a ton of all-inclusive resorts in Cabo, making it an excellent option for spring breakers or some family fun.

Posado Real Los Cabos

This beachside hotel is #2 of budget-friendly hotels in Los Cabos with over 1,000 positive reviews. It's great if you're looking for clean at a quality price.

Solmar Resort

This is a 3-star hotel in downtown Cabo. It has all you could need with a big pool, restaurants, and a reasonable price.

Rui Santa Fe

This all-inclusive property is right on Medano beach, making it a great option for big groups, college trips, and bachelor or bachelorette parties.

Royal Solaris Los Cabos Resort and Spa

This place is complete with a theatre and ample restaurants and bars. You will have no reason to leave.

Restaurants

Near San Jose Del Cabo

Flora Farms

My tip – get there earlier than your reservation and explore the cutest boutiques and shops on the property. & get the carrot margarita while you're at it.

Acre Baja

Acre Baja has been on my list for a while. It is tucked away in San Jose Del Cabo and home to lush farms and greenery. If you're looking for another place to stay, spend a night in their treehouses after having dinner at the farm-to-table restaurant.

Javier's

Located inside the Cabo Azul Hotel, Javier's differs from Southern California's chain. It's authentic, delicious Mexican food.

Near Cabo San Lucas

Los Tres Gallos

This is one of my go-to's in Cabo. With the outdoor patio covered in colorful flags and a mariachi band going from table to table, it's all-around great vibes.

Mi Casa

Mi Casa is another iconically Cabo colorful go-to. It has an eclectic interior, delicious food, and the occasional balloon animal.

Edith's

Edith's is delicious Baja California cuisine meets steakhouse located right in town.

El Farallon

This is located inside the Waldorf Astoria. It's a must for the views alone.

The Office

A very famous Cabo location that, in my opinion, has to be done at least once during your first (or third... or 10th) visit to Cabo. Wear sandals because you're right in the sand, and you might want to take your shoes off to dance anyways.

Toro Latin Kitchen

Toro Latin Kitchen is at the very top of the gate to Esperanza. Try to reserve the patio at sunset. You won't regret it.

Activities

Fiesta

Let's be honest, many people go to Cabo to party. It's got great nightlife and some great beach bars. Two very popular spots are Mango Deck and El Squid Roe. But Cabo is nothing short of amazing night (or day) life.

Sur Beach House

Book a table here and spend the day people watching or downing a delicious margarita (or two). Also available for dinner reservations – book in advance.

Boat Day

Whether it's a snorkeling adventure, relaxing lounge, or even a booze cruise, you won't regret a day on the Pacific.

Visiting the arch

The famous Cabo Arch is likely on any boat trip. It's that one spot in every sunset photo you've ever seen – and when you get there, you'll understand why.

Fishing

Cabo has some great fishing. Hire a local captain or choose from any charters your concierge will likely recommend.

Lovers Beach

Because of the tides, you will notice quite a few beaches in Cabo with swimming restrictions. Lover's Beach is a popular spot to visit because of the calm waters.

Golf

If you're a big golfer, Cabo is your spot. Beautiful weather and even better views make Cabo a really popular location to play.
