A very unique restaurant in the historic center surrounded by local artisan shops and a wine bar. Colorful, handmade tortillas are fresh in front of you and tree lined ceilings create a beautiful ambiance.

Balcon Del Zocalo

One of the best views in the historic center. This balcony is located in the Zocalo hotel and overlooks the famous historic square. Enjoy lunch or a sunset dinner and drinks here.

A fun rooftop bar for dining or drinks.

Cafe nin

Beautiful cafe for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Eno

A local favorite cafe serving yummy breakfast and lunch foods.

Beluga

A favorite amongst our group. The ambiance, once again, is incredible. With lemon tree lined walls and fresh fish trolleys rolling by you will not be disappointed. Plus, the food is 10/10.

Areas of the city:

Condesa and Roma:

These neighborhoods are trendy, hipster areas with a lot of cool bars, rooftops, stores, cafes, restaurants, vintage shops, and busy nights.

Coyoacán

An artsy, hippie vibe with a lot of crafts markets (specially on Saturday and Sunday). Many restaurants, art galleries, and art museums (like Frida Kahlo´s house). Check out the “Mercado de Coyoacán” for a real Mexican market.

Polanco:

A posh, safer area of the city filled with good bars and restaurants, cafes, nice stores, and parks. This is probably one of the safer areas for tourists and a great, safe area to stay in. Be sure to take time to walk a street called Presidente Masakryk for lovely shops and restaurants.

El centro

This is the city center with the main square called “El Zocalo”, There are tons of colonial buildings, museums, restaurants and bars. Also if you want to buy cheap stuff thats the place. This area is very crowded and hectic. Even though it’s touristy, it’s important to be mindful of your surroundings and stay with your group.

San Angel:

Very beautiful residential area with colorful buildings and streets. Visit in the morning on Saturdays if possible for the Saturday Bazaar and to wander around the cafes and craft shops.
